The defense in the 2nd half was much better than the first half but Idaho's eFG% and TS% were really good. The defense caused lots of turnovers and the offense took care of the ball. BYU seemed to capitalize on those turnovers in the second half much better than in the first half. 19 turnovers for Idaho in the game and 6 total for BYU. I'm nervous about the defense especially when BYU gets into conference. It's going to be hard to outscore teams. Let's hope all the soft teams BYU has between now and 12/31 help to solidify what they're doing on defense. There's a ton of switching and guys get lost at times.

Fouss and Saunders were the story here. Fouss's Game Score high before today was 29.6 against Pepperdine in his freshman year. It was 22.0 in his soph year and 24.9 last year. The luxury of feeding it into Fouss to get a bucket when the score is tight will always be needed.

The previous high Game Score for Saunders was 17.7 against Portland in his freshman year. Last year his Game Score high was 16.2 against Georgia St.

Demin is at 30:7 asst:TO ratio. That's Dallin Hall territory. It will be fun to get Dallin back next week and see how the two mesh together.

Right now KY is running a 10 man rotation. Hall makes it 11. What 2-3 players lose their minutes for conference play? We will see how that plays out over the next 1.5 months.
