The one thing I can’t stand about college football and its subjective rankings
Is that it’s getting to a point where it feels like a close loss will help you more than a close win, in terms of respect in the eye of the public. When you lose in the final minute, from that point on whenever someone mentions that game in your loss column they always make sure to say “but they easily could’ve won that game, just lost in the final minute” and the narrative is that you’re better than your record shows.

If your team is clutch and actually overcomes adversity, the public doesn’t recognize that, but instead, you’re “vulnerable” or “worse than your record shows” as you only squeaked by that opponent.

Being a clutch team is a GOOD thing, and people aren’t putting any value on that at all.

Stop listening to people. They don’t know anything at all. They’re the same who chose us to win 4.5 games this season. They’re the same who would’ve laughed at you if you told them we are going to the ccg. Nobody knows anything.

Just win baby!
