P4 teams need to have a few more interconference games about this time in the
Season. Victories in the first couple of weeks are helpful and determining conference strengths, But wins at this point in the season would be even more instructive.
If Alabama can take a break from their conference schedule today to play Mercer, then they could play Penn State or BYU.
