Here's how you DON'T become more liked after one game:

--Talk smack before the game from your abysmal conference record standpoint
--Come out before a game to lecture fans of both sides on "fanning right" but say nothing specifically to your horrid fanbase
--Have your crazed AD run out onto the field during a play (ie criminal tresspass) in anger over a call
--Have your coach get in the face of a conference referee and swear at him after the game
--Have your AD insist on giving a press conference on the loss
--Then having your AD, who previously noted his disdain for the conference ("give me a break"), try to play big dog from his barking chihuahua position with "We WERE excited to join the conference, but (a conference ref made a call we didn't like)"
--Then assaulting, with weapons, the fans of a generally liked fan base as they exit your stadium, just because they beat you
--Then after being fined and reprimanded, give a non-apology as if to say you believe everything you said was right
--Not accepting the result
--Coming up with what sounds like more excuses ("Rose was playing on a broken leg")

--And never apologizing for any of it, making no changes, making no statement that you'll make any changes, continuing to pretend you won and the game was "absolutely stolen" from you and making an undefeated conference member's win at your place all about you, you, you and your victimhood.

Funny aside: you brought in recruits to witness all of it.
