Apparently Rose played with a lisfranc tear the entire 2nd half.
The play that he was sacked and got bailed by a phantom facemask call appears to have been when the injury occurred. They juiced him with painkillers and put a steel plate in his shoe so he could go the second half.
Reminiscent of Taysom Hill against Nebraska, except for the outcome.
Tough break for the guy. He was a gamer for sure.
