This week Alabama has Mercer scheduled. Next week Georgia has Massachusetts. Very peculiar opponents this deep into their seasons. Almost like they were trying to schedule games that they knew they would win at the critical juncture of their seasons for sake of rankings. Maybe just a coincidence, but odd two coincidences in one conference in the same year.

Now, Mercer is 9-1 and could go all Appalachian State on Alabama and come up with an upset. Unlikely, but I imagine they didn't expect they'd be facing a 9-1 team either.
