Thanksgiving, one holiday that makes me wish
we were settled by any European country other than England.
The Portuguese explorers gave their colonies foods like Tempura, Piri Piri Chicken, Kalua Pork, Vindaloo, and Hawaiian sweet bread.
The English gave us baked beans on toast, jellied eels, and spotted dick.
