Whine if you like, but I disagree that the CFP committee is still hating on BYU because they are behind Indiana.
BYU being #6 and leapfrogging Tennessee!? Even after an ugly miracle win?
I'm the first one to hate on the committee, but I don't know how to objectively see this as anything other than respect for BYU and the Big 12. Show me where I'm wrong!

I admit, there are some other alternatives:

1. The committee hates Josh Heupel (doubtful)
2. The committee, at Yormark's hint, is punishing Mark Harlan. (would be hilarious; doubtful)
3. The committee values the resume. (more likely true)
4. The committee values the big 12 over the SEC. (evidence doesn't check out)
5. The committee values SMU (No. SMU dropped)
6. BYU is bribing the committee (This the LDS school that won't fire Kalani Sitake, right? Not likely this)
7. The committee hates the vols schedule strength (top 10? not this)
8. The committee recognizes that beating Utah is tough in RES and that it is delicious to silence their arrogant fan base. (No.....could it be?)
9. The committee sees BYU is more likely to win out and they will look stupid if they don't have them near the top 5 when they seed them at #4. (quite possible actually)
10. what else?

I can't see any reason for BYU being at #6 unless the committee simply values the team's body of work and have decided they are a couple wins away from being a top 5 team. Here's hoping they can live up to the ranking in the playoffs--should they get there!!
