We're below 4 Big10 teams? How does that happen? Oregon has to feel pretty good about its move about now, but two of those don't belong above us: Penn St. and Indiana. I'd be happy to line our boys up against either of those teams.

Hard to complain too hard, though, when we're over: all but 1 team from what has been until very recently the top conference in the land, the SEC (including 'Bama, Ole Miss, Georgia, A&M, LSU--wowsers!); a one-loss Notre Dame (even if that one loss is pretty bad); the real U, aka the top team in the ACC (finally, but now by 3 spots); the top G5 squad in Boise; all other BigXII teams; and an undefeated Army. And I'll 'fess up. Pessimistic ole me was wondering where we'd get 6 wins pre-season. I admit it. I sold our boys short. I'll only say I wasn't alone.

And Utah is nowhere to be seen. Life is good. Enjoying the ride, even if for a solid 2+ hours Saturday night my stomach was in knots.
