What we should be talking about from the Utah game.
For the first time in 12 years or so I feel like BYU was not "out athleted". For years with our defensive secondaries and other skill positions it felt like Utah had more speed/athleticism-- at least after the starters. Our defensive secondary was equal to or better than Utahs. Our linebackers were better than Utahs. Our D-line was not quite as good as Utahs, but pretty close and the second string players were just as good. On the offensive side of the ball, Utah could not just man up our wide receivers. Our receivers are too fast and too good to just play physical man to man. Our O-line was a bit overmatched, but mostly due to inexperience-- not talent. And Jake Retzlaff is just a winner.

Finally, SPECIAL TEAMS! That kick return for a touchdown, the perfect field goal kicking, the solid punt and kick coverage. It was the difference in this game. Well done Cougs!
