reality to people that need it.
Duke volleyball player makes up (or imagines) some racial slur from a fan at a BYU game, the whole thing is thoroughly investigated, video review, everything. Utah and national media go ballistic attacking BYU, who is apologizing profusely (way more than they should). Turns out, no proof. Non-story.
Utah fan throws heavy item onto field and gives BYU staffer a concussion. Utah and national media don't say a peep about it, the university doesn't do a thing to try to change fan behavior, etc.
Losers often accuse BYU fans of having a so-called "persecution complex". That's just a cop out for something they don't want to deal with, don't want to accept. It's disgustingly dismissive. Demonstrable bias and hypocrisy have absolutely nothing to do with a "persecution complex".
Rant over.
