Their #12 ranking last week was generous, and that’s about their ceiling. This isn’t a momentum ranking system, you don’t just move up because teams ahead of you lost. Teams ahead of them lost because they play an actual difficult schedule.

There are several future 3 loss SEC teams that I would put well ahead of Boise. I don’t think Boise’s resume can really improve at all from here on out.

SMU should be ahead of Boise as well, so I’d personally drop Boise further.
