Just watched THE CUT and I was just thinking how differently the 2nd half..
would've ended if we hadn't ended the 1st half as badly as we did with poor clock management. All the end of the game drama might've not even been a thing if not for that small mistake ( likely would've scored a FG ). FYI I'm not complaining about the drama or everything to go along with it. It's provided plenty of entertainment.
Maybe the D would've still shut them out but instead of having to do a 2 minute drive with a FG to win it at the end we just end the game shutting out Utah and end the game on downs.
I'm honestly not trying to beat up on the coaches too much because they got the W and did what they needed to do to win but there were dumb unnecessary complications that didn't need to made to get the W.
As I said previously "The game didn't go like I thought it would or feel like it should've gone.." and again IDK maybe that's me giving BYU too much credit and Utah too little credit.
Anyhow.. with that being said I LOVE OUR COACHES. I have 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000 idea what it is like to walk in their shoes. I know they're trying their best to no only win but to mold young men into leaders!
The Coaches and players have already surpassed ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL expectations that anyone had for them this season. So I probably should spend more time being grateful for the W's we've gotten.
Also.. I should've finished watching THE CUT before posting because Kalani's speech at around the 13 minute mark is great!
