POLL: Do you believe a college football conference has ever given clear instruction to officials to favor one team over the other?
You can confine your answers to the period during which you have been alive, because who knows what happened back in the 1930s 🙂

I want to know if you think there has ever been direction (whether communicated in an official way or between two guys in a bar) where the conference leader clearly indicated they wanted the official to try to achieve a particular result (other than calling the game straight up). And don't count gambling corruption — this is referring to a result that was "better for the conference."
