1. The adjustments of the defense and Jay Hill at half time were the only reason we had a chance for a comeback. If Utah has any offensive success in the second half we were done for.
2. Will Ferrin was smiling on the sideline leading up to the last kick. Kid was more calm with the game in his hands (foot?) than I was on my couch.
3. I think our offensive success started once Retzlaff showed that he'd be willing to run the ball. It helped keep Utahs defense a little more honest and that's when we started having chunk passing yards.

It was an ugly win, but I'd rather win ugly than lose pretty. Go cougs!
