I try to light the pilot and it'll stay on as long as I'm pressing in on the pilot button. As soon as I let go to adjust the heat, pilot extinguishes.

So, I cleaned the thermopile. Still doesn't work. Ordered a new one (cause I couldn't find one at Lowes/Home Depot).

It'll come tomorrow. What are the chances that's all it is?

Water heater was new in 2017.
