I think this proves that I'm a fantastic parent, but maybe you all can tell me if this means our family priorities are out of whack... I'm prepared for any verdict so bring it.
Three of my kids went to the temple today to do baptisms. They just decided to do it on their own, so I was pretty happy to hear that the temple is how they planned to spend their afternoon. They got home and told me about seeing a member of our ward, and that my 12-year-old enjoyed the whole experience and loves going to the temple. Later my 17-year-old son pulled me aside and said: "Dad, it's rivalry week, so I put Jake Retzlaff's name on the prayer roll."
I think this means I'm doing a great job. My HCB wife says that it might be a sign that we're a bit overboard in our home. What say you CB?
