Is Ivy League/Ivy plus school worth it over BYU for undergrad?

Looking for anyone's thoughts on sending a kid to Ivy League or Ivy Plus type school versus BYU. Obviously cost is a huge consideration. Wondering what experience has been like for anyone who has sent children to an Ivy League or "elite" university.

If the plan is to go to grad school. No. BYU undergrad, IVY for grad.

I know a kid 36 on the ACT, blazed through Theoritical Physics degree at USU.

I think specifically MIT/Caltech would be worth going to undergrad, but otherwise, if they're destined

What does "Ivy Plus" mean? Forbes has BYU at #36, over NYU, ...
