The Demin to Knell inbounds pass from under the basket. If I can give one clear drop of criticism from Rose to Pope it was the inbounds plays. I loved those plays under Rose, they were money. After Pope came in we were consistently disappointing in those scenarios. That one shot from last night could mean nothing but it already has me nodding my head, wide eyed in KY's direction. Well done good sir. More please.

Other thoughts:

The level of athleticism and talent on the court is instantly noticeable. The depth at a higher talent level is ultra clear.

Our Defense still needs work. Not stressing about it but its true. There are always off nights in basketball where the shots won't go in and we will need to win with defense. Critical in the Big 12 so we need to up our game there. I don't think we are bad on defense but we are not good either. I would love to see us more dominant on that side of that ball.

Catchings shot beyond the arch is just so so pure. Way before the ball leave his hands I already know its going in. His mechanics are just beautiful.

Demin, how did we land this guy? The game is in slow motion for him.

I'm very please with the little I have seen of Boskovic. Great talent.

Saunders is like a wild animal. He has almost an angry violence when he moves that you just don't expect sometimes. Its not a higher level of athleticism it is just a higher level of determination and commitment in his movement that you don't see anywhere else on the court.
