I am still seeing a lot of references to BYU and the Big 12 as a “P5” program/league. This is not correct. BYU is a Power 4 program and the Big 12 is a P4 league. With the dissolution of the PAC-12 there is no Power 5 any longer. The new PAC is a glorified G5, or G6 to be precise.
