Even with the most favorable models, Miami is projected to have 1 loss and all SEC teams are projected to have 2 losses. We likely are ranked ahead of a 1-loss ACC team and 2-loss SEC team if we are undefeated. Oregon is projected to have 1 loss, but I doubt we move ahead of a 1-loss B1G team.

Of course those same models more often than not have us losing 2 games, so we would have to do better than projected, but I think we truly do control our own destiny at this point.
