The students were given the vote to christen the mascot. Their options were Stu, Gus, Kevin, Rocky, and, you guessed it, Cosmo. Our kids have no idea who came up with the options, and there really isn't a BYU connection with anybody at the school, but, our household now roots for two institutions of learning whose mascot is Cosmo the Cougar. 🤣
