He also touched the ground with the left foot earlier than his shin did, but that didn’t count for the left foot being down in bounds apparently? I would have thought that once any part of him touched out of bounds, he’s lost his chance to get his second foot down in bounds, but apparently that’s not the case. I read the rule book but it didn’t really clarify it for me.
FTR, I thought it was an awesome catch and am glad it counted, it just makes no sense! Make it make sense!
