Here’s a scary idea for a Halloween day…
BYU and Utah admin get together in a big koombyah and come out of it with an announcement: They will jointly build a $2B state of the art facility/complex right at the point of the mountain somewhere that both schools will share for home games moving forward (like the jets/giants, chargers/rams, etc.). Both plan to level their current stadiums and use the land for other purposes. But the new complex will become the epicenter for sports, concerts, conventions, and major events in Utah. In fact, even the Jazz, the UHC, and the soon to be announced MLB club for Utah will either use the facility too or be relocating to facilities adjacent to this new one. It will draw in recruits, etc with what it provides. Fan experience/amentities will be second to none in college or pro sports. All of this being possible only because the two schools pool their resources together and it becomes a shared venue.

😂

Oh, that makes nauseous just thinking about it. But it would be intriguing especially if college football really does become a minor league pro sports league to the NFL essentially.
