On the 1st missed field goal. Loved seeing Kyle yelling "he was standing over the ball!" with that wide eyed Kyle look. 47 yard field goal attempt. Houston had 12 or 13 defenders on the field and Utah just had to snap the ball to get a 5 yard penalty. Instead they had to call a time out to avoid a delay of game because the ref was standing over the ball.
On that same note, when you are "winning" (4 losses/season but whatever), it can be seen as shrewd gamesmanship to play the defenders slowly jogging off the field game. When you're 1-4 against the dregs of the conference it just looks pathetic. As per their usual, it continued to be a major part of their gameplan against Houston. Love the optics that this is what they have to resort to...and still lose.
Usually you'll see an inside screen a couple times/game. Not with Utah. They ran some type of screen at least 5 times in the 1st half. 1 was the Kuithe TD which was half their offensive output in the game. 3 of them weren't completed due to bad passes. I know there were a bunch more in the 2nd half. From what I remember a few of those weren't completed due to WR drops.
