Despite not being a member, Jake represents BYU exactly how we'd want high profile players to represent BYU. Obviously it helps that he's having a really good year. To represent, you also have to be a high performer in your field, and in this case that is football. I, like many last season, was dead wrong when we said "nice guy, but never going to be a D1 quarterback."

He's proved us wrong on the field, but on top of that he is the kind of ambassador for the school that we hope for. I think we've had 3 guys in a row who appeared to be really good guys off the field (Jake, Kedon, and Jaren), but Jake is on a different level in that he's vocal and a very visible promoter of BYU. Absolutely love it.
