If you were looking at U vs BYU from the outside, what's your prediction?
Here's mine.

Utah offense just doesn't have the weapons to compete with this BYU offense.

Utah's defense is decent. BYU will have some trouble with their physical corners (probably some missed PI calls), but the real battle will be in the trenches. BYU will come out and try to dominate the line of scrimmage. It's a tall task, but that will set the tone for the game. Lucky for BYU, LJ Martin is going to be as healthy as he's been all season. If the offensive line can generate holes, he'll find them. I don't think BYU will go to the designed QB run, like they have for the past couple games, but Jake will take off a couple times on broken plays for big gains. If the run is established early, it's game over for Utah. If they can stop the run, then this game will get interesting.

On the other side of the ball, there isn't much optimism for Utah. They have to start Wilson to even have a chance, but Wilson makes all the normal freshman QB mistakes. He holds on to the ball too long and tries to do too much. Jay Hill is doing to have Wilson seeing ghosts. Utah has to establish the run. If they can do that, then the play action might open up. If not, they'll be in 3rd and long, and that's a recipe for disaster with Wilson. I could see Utah try to pull plays from OSU. Gundy had some great misdirection plays that BYU wasn't ready for. Maybe Utah can keep BYU's front 7 guessing, but that's unlikely.

Final score prediction: 28-10 BYU.

With all that being said, this is a rivalry game, and I'm not counting on anything.
