I think there’s a good possibility. #10 A&M plays at South Carolina and will build on the momentum of beating LSU.

Clemson and Iowa State—both ranked #11–host Louisville and Texas Tech, respectively. Either win would be over a respectable opponent.

#13 Indiana plays at Michigan State. The Hoosiers could be a 9-0 Big Ten team, and I think voters wouldn’t be able to resist putting them in the top 10.

Teams ranked above us aren’t likely to lose. I suppose if Ohio State loses to Penn State and falls to 6-2, I can see them falling out of the top 10.

I am really hoping that we can walk into RES with a single-digit ranking next to our name, but whatever. Just win the games we can control, I guess.
