Why Utah isn't a threat
& 2 : RE : Complacency: BYU Football isn't going to overlook their rival regardless of the bye week. We already had a bye week a month ago between the Baylor and AZ games and the team stayed focused.

.) Utah isnt bad : I agree that the Utes aren't a bad team but they also aren't anywhere as capable of a team as BYU. BYU Defense has held down multiple teams Offenses this season. See KSU, SMU, and arguably UCF ( for most of the game at least ).

.) RES will be rocking : Will it though? Pretty sure LES is the venue that teams and others have been saying is the stadium that's difficult to play in. I don't think players or coaches are going to be phased by the Utes 45k stadium.

.) Whittingham hasn't played BYU for a couple of years and he's been less than stellar this year. Also we've got multiple coaches (Sitake, Arod, Jay Hill ) that have coached with Whittingham. They'll out coach him and his staff. We didn't have Jay Hill and our other improved coaches when we beat them in 2021.
