Whits hubris broke new bounds this year and it cost him. He bought into the
Hype and that the big 12 was a truck stop conference they would run over. He took every opportunity to say the big 12 was temporary until the big 10 came calling.

Whits arrogance led to changes in his coaching where he coached like he wanted to hold the big 12 accountable instead of just win games. He also wanted to stick it to BYU in every way possible with Wilson at qb, legacy byu players all over the lineup, and ever a former byu basketball player. It all seemed great in the non conference even with rising out and then they beat osu on the road.

Then the AZ game. He could Have taken points and played with a lead but forced too much on a freshman qb to make 4th down plays. He has since abandoned his ball control offense. There biggest issues appears to be lack of a running game or too much faith in Wilson. Yesterday they came out in the second half and threw 3 straight pass plays.

Their defense has been good but they have very few takeaways.

Whits timeouts at the end of the game were baffling. All they did was help Houston execute a run heavy offense.

Firing or losing the only successful oc under him was is a bad sign.

So many other things to show the fall of Kyle this year. He has been such a tool towards BYU that it has been very enjoyable.

Here’s to redeeming Joe Glenn in 2 weeks with a second half onside kick.
