My mom is a very healthy 80 year old.Over the years, she has taken very good care of her systemic health. But her demise is her back. She is the mother of 8 kids. And just ware and tear.
She has had a couple of back surgeries in the past. One time, she got MRSA around some of the hardware that was placed in her back. She couldn’t kick that, even with IV antibiotics. They had to go back in and remove some of the hardware. That was 15 years ago.
She’s tried pain meds, steroid injection shots almost to no avail.
She’s been back to a spine surgery specialist in Boise that doesn’t feel comfortable operating on her.

I’m wondering if you know of a great spine surgeon in Utah or in the region?? Maybe one that’s helped a lot of the elderly?
I’d heard of a guy in Park City, but don’t know his name.
