BYU has won in a variety of ways this season. These are the different statements
they've made in each of their games so far this year (according to me):

Vs SIU and Wyoming they showed that they aren't going to play down to the competition as BYU has done in the past.

Vs SMU we showed that our defense can be good enough to step up and essentially win a game for us when our offense is struggling. Especially after looking at how many points SMU has scored against every other team.

Vs Kansas St the team showed that they aren't going to shy away from perceived overpowered competition. They also showed what it looks like when all 3 phases are firing on all cylinders. Also showed that this team THRIVES on momentum.

Vs Baylor we showed that when we build a big lead an out opponent makes a roaring comeback, the team won't let the wheels fall off and just give up ..they'll show up and fight back and can close out a close game. Also put to rest the day game curse nonsense.

Vs Arizona we showed that we can beat a true pocket passer along with one of the best WRs in college football.

Vs OSU our team finally showed that they can win even when our defense struggles. The defense has made things really easy on the offense all year long but that was not the case vs OSU.

THIS WEEK VS UCF: I am hoping for 2 statements...
1) show that we can win even if we have to travel 2 time zones away on the opposite end of the country. The team is flying out on Thursday so hopefully that helps.

2). Show that our defense last week was a fluke, ESPECIALLY vs the run. KSU probably has the best running QB / RB combo in the conference but after BYU scored 3 TDs in a very short period of time, KSU had to abandon the run for the most part. UCF will be our true run defense test.
