And it wasn't one of them but all of them. It may have something to do with the change to the 3-3-5 and the ends were out of position. When they went back to the 4-3 things looked more stout but still not great. Our starting ends got pushed around and blocked out WAY too easily for most of the game.
The other thing that was shocking is how we were trying to tackle a great runner up top at his shoulder pads and not into his thighs and driving your feet. If we dont tackle better, get off the blocks better, we will get beat on Saturday. Guaranteed.
If I were the coach I would stick with the 4-3 and have better gap coverage than we did. Keep the ends out but have the linebackers scrape and fill more aggressively.
