Position: Advantage (confidence level)

SP: Yankees (7): The Yankees are healthier, deeper, and have more star power.
RP: Dodgers (5): The Dodgers have the better bullpen. The Yankees are heavily reliant on 4 guys (Hill, Holmes, Kahnle, and Weaver). They will become less effective as the series goes on and batters get more looks. The Yankees would not survive a bullpen game.
C: Dodgers (1): Catchers this postseason have all been struggling at the plate including Smith and Wells. Wells is the much better fielder, but I have more faith in Smith coming out of his slump, so (small) advantage Dodgers.
1B: Dodgers (6): Confidence level would be higher if Freeman was healthy. He should be better in a week. Rizzo had a good hitting series, but power is gone and his defense was lacking.
2B: Yankees (3): Torres has been on a heater. Been great since the all-star break. The Dodgers 2nd basemen are Chris Taylor and Kike. Kike has been great in the playoffs, but Taylor is pretty bad. I asume Taylor's playing time will decrease with a healthy Freeman. *Edit: Forgot about Gavin Lux. He hasn't been playing well this postseason and has been injured, so confidence level remains. *Edit StantonMac with a good argument. Injury still gives torres advantage
SS: Dodgers (3): Volpe has been very good in the playoffs. Gold glove SS. He is very streaky at the plate, so we will see if this hot streak continues. Edman just won the NLCS MVP.
3B: Dodgers (7): Max Muncy is very good. Jazz Chisholm has been terrible this postseason. Trying to do way too much. If he gets back to his regular season form, he still can be a good player. Haven't seen it yet this postseason, so not counting on it.
RF: Tie: Soto and Betts are both really really good.
CF: Yankees (4): Confidence should be much higher for Judge, but he needs to snap out of his slump. Showed some signs of life in the ALCS, but still struggling. *Edit: bumped down confidence to keep ratings all uniform
LF: Dodgers (5): Verdugo has been serviceable this postseason, but Teoscar is the better hitter.
DH: Tie: Ohtani and Playoff Stanton are both really really good.
