As fun and climatic as the game was on Friday against OSU, the lack of stops on 3rd down and the poor rush defense were disturbing. Offense needs better ball security, and the coaching needs to be cleaner.

If those don’t improve quickly, BYU could easily lose @UCF, @Utah, @ASU (assuming a healthy Leavitt is back), and/or against Kansas.

All our dreams and excitement of a special season can vaporize really quickly if the team doesn’t refocus and get better every single day.

So, be grateful, but don’t lavish the team in praise. Don’t provide them rat poison, focus on how this team still can and I believe will grow into a playoff caliber team.
