I had to ponder it. I’ve only followed BYU football for 20 years, but I wrote up my personal top 10 and sent it to him. It was fun to do. Here’s what I sent him:

10. 2019 vs USC - OT victory that I absolutely did not expect. I took the kids with me. Really a fun experience
9. 2011 vs USU - Jake Heapes was benched in favor of former USU QB Riley Nelson, who led BYU to a comeback victory. Makes the list because of this video (ode to Riley Nelson’s hair) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=weS8U5zLXHs

8. 2016 vs AZ in Glendale AZ. Kalani’s first game. Game was awesome to see in person. Not much offense. Came down to a FG from a true freshman. Awesome win

7. BYU at Nebraska - Tanner Mangum Hail Mary for the win
6. 2009 VS Oklahoma—first college game ever played at Cowboys stadium. Massive upset of an Oklahoma team that many thought was a national title contender. Came down to the last drive. BYu won 14-13

5. 2009 vs Utah - the first OT game in the series. Utah goes first and has to settle for a FG. BYU gets the ball, Hall hands it off to Andrew George who splits the defenders and runs up the middle into the end zone. Was there for this one. After this game Max Hall gives his famous “I hate Utah” speech. BYU doesn’t beat Utah again till 2021

4. 2007 Vs Utah. Utah almost had the game put away. BYU was backed up to its own end zone with a minute to go at 4th and 18. Hall completed a 30 yd pass to Austin Collie. The next play was a long run into the end zone for a touchdown. I was there.

3. 2015 vs Boise - Magnum throws Hail Mary for TD to Mitch Juergens for the win. I was there. Had Brandon with me.

2. 2021 vs Utah— didn’t come down to the last play, it had just been so long since BYU had beaten Utah
