TLDR: It's pretty awesome to be at the top of the conference and Utah to be towards the bottom when this year was supposed to be a special year for Utah. Not just because Utah is a rival but because so many predicted BYU to be at the bottom.

BYU fans were for the most part cautiously optimistic and many were just hoping for a winning season. As an example I remember threads where some CBers were pretty disappointed by that lack of a named QB by Arod so close to the beginning of the season. The media saying we'd end up in the bottom of the B12.

The polar opposite was said by Utah fans and the media. Utes would be at the top of the B12, go to the conference championship and then onto college playoffs.

Anyhow it's been interesting to see where a lot of fans and the media were to where we are.
