Interesting thing happened at the Doctor….
We took my 13 year old son in to get his knee checked after an injury in his football game.

They took an x-ray and they didn’t say anything at the time but called my wife later and said there’s an abnormality in his femur above his knee that they want to look at again in 6 months.

Obviously that scared my wife and I and it’s been eating at me ever since. We are going to have our primary physician look at it in a month at his yearly appointment, but how concerned should I be?

Has this happened to anyone else before? Six months seems like a long time… if it’s something that concerns them, shouldn’t it be looked at sooner?

Or am I blowing this out of proportion? Any thoughts/insight are much appreciated, TIA.
