BYU's opponents have to throw 11.9 more passes against BYU than against all
their other FBS opponents on average.

In other words, we are forcing every team to throw the ball way more than they want to. This is likely a combination of us leading a lot in games as well as good solid run defense.

Applying this statistic to Oklahoma State using their average attempts per game and completion percentage and average yards per completion they will pass for around 230 yards against us in over 50 attempts against us. Nowhere near enough to win since in their wins they are averaging 322.3 passing yards and, in their losses, they are averaging 228.7 passing yards.

The run game remains the wild card here.
