They aren't a "new" band since they have been around since 2017, but I think they are unknown enough that they would likely be new to many of you. I love music, though I would not consider myself a music afficianado. But, man! This group has some really great music that sets them apart from so many modern groups. They are basically two guys from North Dakota and then a lead singer from England. Their music is described as a mix of pop and folk...and then a bunch of other influences. 

The things I love about their music?

• The lead singer's voice is about as good as it gets. So smooth and he hits so many notes effortless it really is beautiful to listen to.
• They love to use various instruments in their songs outside of a typical drums, guitar, etc. But they don't just use the intruments to make it different. They incorporate the instruments and it always sounds like the instruments were meant to be there.
• The lyrics. I can't say enough about what lyrical gangsters these guys are. Just a lot of symbolism and metaphors and storytelling in all of their songs. 
• Percussion...they really know how to make songs interesting using various percussion techniques.

My favorite song from them right now it "Tie Me to the Tracks". Fun lyrics and about as fast of a rhythm for a song as you can get. In fact, the band member who wrote it said he set the bpm to "just on the edge of being too fast to play." I love all of their songs but my favorites are Time Me to the Tracks, Collapse, American Waters, Cast the Bronze, I'm Already Losing You, and You Never Believe In Me. They also tend to release a new single every 4-5 months.

Anyway, if you are looking for a great band to add to your playlist look into them. It might not be the style of music you like, but I think a number of you would enjoy something new to listen to.
