This isn’t a super original take but in my head it makes sense.

As has been stated before.

If we lose two games in the regular season we probably don’t make it to the CCG and won’t get the at large.

If one loss is in regular season and one loss in CCG then we probably won’t get the at large.

If we win the regular season but our one loss is in CCG then we could get the at large.

If we win out and win the CCG then it turns to single elimination obviously.

I guess that’s pretty much the same for all teams in the BIG12 at the start of the season. Essentially it’s playoffs from the start just double elimination to begin with.

Obviously things could shake out differently, I just don’t see a Big12 team who isn’t in the CCG getting into the playoffs.
