My 26 YO brother decided he wanted to get healthier. He has suspected insulin
Resistance. And with a T1D mother diagnosed in her 40’s he asked specifically for a diabetic panel.
His a1c was 13.4% and fasting glucose of 250.
I’ll be calling tomorrow to schedule myself a check-up and get lab work done.
Over the summer, he started working out and lost about 15 pounds and weights 160 now (he’s about 5’ 8”)
