But a few posts today sound as though we’ve turned a page and are now a dominant program compared to the rest of the conference. I mean, BYU is half way through a special season, but I wouldn’t be surprised if fortunes change dramatically within the conference for many teams over the next six weeks. Hope they don’t, but six football games does not a dynasty make. And a lot can happen in six more (though I’d be shocked if we don’t win at least half of those remaining games).

Regarding Utah. Yeah, they’ve got big problems. But one thing I know about Whittingham is that he is very good at turning teams around when they start to get tripped up mid season. Expect a very different looking team this week and one that is ready to play in November.

I’m loving the moment, and am bullish on the program, but let’s not drink the kool aid too deeply now. Still a lot of ball to play.
