And we have a legitimate shot to make the conference championship game in our 2nd P4 season ever. This team is different from the ground up. The attitude, the discipline, the effort, and a whole lot more is different. This is a team with the makeup, the talent, and the coaching to do something special this year. From the start of the year, we treated SIU like a serious threat, and we’ve done the same with all our opponents regardless of their true skill level. We weren’t looking past anyone. We could absolutely make it to the end of the season 11-1. Even at 10-2 we’d have a chance. If you’re worried about getting burned and have your guard up, that’s fine. But as fans, we’ve earned the right to be confident. As long as the team keeps everything 1 game at a time and keeps the same level of respect for OSU and they did for K State and Arizona, we can absolutely do something special. And lastly, don’t police other fans for being confident and having aspirations. As long as they aren’t being jerks to other people, let them be fans.
