Offense: B+

Some great plays, a few bad drops (mostly Lassiter), one or two bad passes, and a few strange play calls. The TO on downs on opening drive, and some badly stalled drives in the 3rd, but consistent movement on almost every drive but one (I think we only had one 3 & out). Room for improvement as always, but strong play through most of the game.

Defense B+

Stop. giving. up. 3rd. and. longs. Fifita was a very shifty QB, but he isn't the only QB to make our front 7 whiff in the backfield and miss what should be a sack. A few other really bad tackles that gave up chunks of yards. But no huge plays. Great play overall by our DBs again. This unit looked much better this week than they did last week against Baylor. 4 forced TOs. Dang. That's just impressive.

Special Teams A-

Great punting (all 2? of them), on one terrible missed tackle on the punt coverage allowing AZ to start the field at the 50. A kickoff out of bounds. No miffed punts. All FGs made. Not a lot of opportunities for ST on either side of the ball because there was so little punting (see 4 TOs), but generally good play here.
