A few months ago the chances of getting to a bowl seemed quite slim... But suddenly it feels like getting surprised with Thanksgiving diner after a hard day's work... only you've just noticed it through the front window. Everything looks amazing but you've yet to even make it through the door!!!

This year has the possibility of turning into a once in a twenty year season, so buckle up. It's going to take a massive amount of luck and continued hard work, but this could be a banner year. Everything just feels ripe for for it. That's the beauty of football, when these types of years happen they blindside everyone. Nobody expected BYU 84'/97' or Utah 04'/08' at least that level of dominance. My only hope this year is that there are no regrets. Kalani was around during the 97' Cotton Bowl year. Amazing team, but they will always have the 'what if' label on them. What if they had gone to Washington and taken care of business. 14-1 could have been 15-0. There can be NO slip ups or no shows.

Six wins is no longer enough this year. Teams have to seize upon years like this one, they just don't come along often. There are some very tough games ahead for the Cougs but things have changed drastically since August/September. Each of our remaining games have all become winnable. Nobody wants to say it or think it but the elephant in the room is getting harder to ignore and I'm loving it. I can't think of anything more satisfying then if BYU were to miraculously land in the playoffs while the Utes spiraled into oblivion.
