Black Desert is underway and it looks like the guys are going to go low. Last I heard Max Brenchley (BYU) had the course
record with a 63. That mark is under pressure this week.
I could think of 7 golfers in the field with Utah ties. (am I missing any?)

Mike Weir - BYU
Zach Blair - BYU
Patrick Fishburn - BYU
Peter Kuest - BYU
3 amateurs:
Zac Jones - BYU
Kiehi Akina - Loan Peak senior - committed to BYU
Bowen Mauss - Corner Canyon senior - committed to ASU
Zac Blair has been the king of St George golf for a long time (Jay Don Blake may disagree :).... will be interesting to see how he does this week. Fortunate for him (and Fishburn) that they are paired together for Thur and Fri. Let's hope they can capitalize on it.
