Wasn't aware of this detail until today so it makes perfect sense why Whittingham has been pretending that Rising is ready. Seems to me like he's gotten as much mileage as he can out of it though. Have to imagine the teams left on Utah's schedule are going to prepare more for a healthy inexperienced Isaac Wilson and will care less about if Rising does in fact play because he still might not be 100% healthy.
