I would appreciate any insights from parents who have had a kid struggle in school and how you may have found a quality tutor.

My daughter is really struggling with math and science. Her work habits are solid but she often struggles understanding concepts. She can watch a 5-minute craft youtube video and then go replicate it exactly without having to rewatch it, but when it comes to figuring our math and science, it just doesn't connect.

She is on an IEP plan and her mom and I have been doing our best to help tutor/coach her but it looks like we need something more. We have been doing OK but the concepts are getting more challenging with algebra and physics concepts. She was in tears and filled with anxiety going to bed last night just dreading going to school today. Breaks my heart.

Any insights would be much appreciated.
