Thinking about tight ends
The first four games, Darius hadn’t really been featured. Then against Baylor, you could tell that ARod included him as a major part of the game plan. 13 targets, 8 catches, 120 yards and a TD. Should’ve had 160+ if it weren’t for his drops.

I could see the same thing happening with tight ends. If ARod sees a weakness in Arizona or whatever team, he will exploit it. If he thinks he can effectively throw to tight ends 15 times in a game, he will do it.

ARod seems to be more creative on how to get the receivers the ball, and I think that’s mainly because we are just stacked in the receiver room. But don’t be surprised if there’s a game this year where the tight ends have a breakout game and we ask ourselves where they’ve been all season.

That’s my hope anyway. When things are going well it’s easy to think ARod is a mastermind.
